Touriga Nacional, considered the best variety for Port wine and now paving the way for table wines.
Touriga Nacional is a Portuguese grape variety of great elegance; these wines are intensely coloured and have an intense flavour. With aromas of violets and orange peel, the wines have a very concentrated colour and a very intense mouth feel.
Indigenous to the Dão region and intensively planted in the Douro region, it is without a doubt the queen of red grapes in Portugal.
