Alicante Branco - Alicante Branco is also known as "Boal de Alicante" or "Boal Cachudo" and has been an important grape variety in the Alentejo for many years.
Gyrão, 1822, 50 years before the grape phylloxera, cites several "Boiais" but places special emphasis on "Boal Cachudo" (synonymous with this variety).
It produces straw-yellow wines with white-fleshed fruit aromas with good structure and depth.
