It is very confusing, some say it is the Verdejo from Spain, others the Verdelho from Madeira, but it is not.
Verdelho from Alentejo is the same as Godello in Valdeorras or Gouveio in the Douro.
It is a fruity variety, with notes of tea with very good body and great longevity.
