Our Unoaked Alentejo collection shows two Alentejo grape varieties expressing themselves in a pure, naked and fresh version, something so rare in Alentejo.
Touriga Vai Nua: The queen variety of Portuguese grapes, Touriga Nacional stands out for its floral identity. A fragile identity that is lost with time, aging, and contact with barrels. This trial shows the pure Touriga, in a rare version, aged only 3 months in vat, so that it clarifies in a natural way.
Tinto do Pote de Barro: The Tinto do Pote de Barro is a project of the Signature Series line seeks to find the profile of ancient "carved wine" using old blended vines and the ancient process of winemaking in carved wood.
It couldn't be called "Talha" wine because the committee wouldn't let it, and it couldn't even be "Alentejano" because the committee didn't like it. Thus, our punishment essay was left in the corner of the room, reduced to a dignified and humble clay pot, well in the image of the wine.
