Varieties: 64% Sousão, 30% Touriga Nacional, 6% blend of traditional Douro grape varieties.
Concept: Brothers, winemakers, friends and working together for over 17 years and in over 14 wineries. This Maçanita Reserve Red 2019 is just that, the combined experiences of two brothers, two winemakers, a lot of discussion, a lot of laughter, all summarized in this Brothers Reserve. We hope you enjoy it.
Vinification:The grapes are harvested by hand and transported in 18 kg boxes. In the winery, cold pre-maceration, spontaneous fermentation, cuvaison for 26 days. Aged in French oak barrels, 25% new and 75% neutral for 18 months.
Tasting Notes: Dark violet color with concentrated aroma of red fruits. Round tannins. Intense and persistent finish.
Launch: 9,066 bottles in April 2021.
Alcohol: 14.0% Vol.
Storage and service: It should be stored at 12ºC to be served at 16ºC and be drunk at 18ºC.
Gastronomy: Goes well with white and red meat dishes, both in traditional and modern cuisine.
