Os Canivéis, is a set of plots located in the parish of Carlão where we find soils in transition from schist to granite. This vineyard shows a rare composition of more than 9 traditional Douro white grape varieties. The result is a unique wine that excites for what is unexplored in the Douro and for the conservation and durability of this Douro that, although undervalued, for us has as much or more value!
Carlão, 520m altitude, vineyards with 80 to 92 years old, Cima Corgo.
Manual harvest for 18kg boxes. Whole bunch pressing, cold decantation, fermentation and ageing 25% in new barrels and 75% in stainless steel with bâttonage for 10 months.
Citrine yellow color, smooth citrus aroma. In the mouth the attack is dense, with balanced acidity. Rich retro in the middle of the tasting. Finishes with plenty of freshness and persistence.

Keep at 6-8ºC to be served at 10ºC and drink at 12ºC.
Goes well with fish or meat dishes, and by its acidity combines perfectly with simpler fish and seafood.
