100% Folgasão.
It is not easy to keep up with the diversity of Portuguese grape varieties, there are more than 250 in total, and it gets more complicated when they change names between regions. Folgasão went from here to the islands of Zarco, and there it gained fame as Terrantez. This is that Terrantez that is the Folgasão from the Douro, at altitude and showing a pure, mineral and fresh side of the grape variety. A Folgasão like we have never tasted. A Folgasão that belongs neither to Joana nor to António. It is the Folgasão of both!
Baixo Corgo - Vineyards at 480 meters of altitude.
The grapes are hand picked and transported in 18kg boxes. In the winery, direct pressing of the whole bunch, fermentation at 14 degrees in stainless steel vats. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel.
Bright yellow color. Fresh and intense nose. A citric Folgasão as we have never seen, in its purest version, where minerality and acidity are accentuated. In the mouth is tense with great depth.

Goes well with grilled fish, mixed salads and white meat dishes.
