100% Trincadeira.
A typical Alentejo grape variety, black Trincadeira (syn. Tinta Amarela) with a thin and fragile skin, causes it to rot if it rains and to raisin in high temperatures. This "Trincadeira" was harvested at the point possible, with a focus on its fresh fruit side. A breeze of Alentejo freshness that was lost, but in the end was always here. Trincadeira... is not so black after all!
Continental Mediterranean, hot and dry days, with very cold nights.
Fragile garnet-ruby color, nose with notes of wet forest, mushroom and spice, with very soft herbal touches. In the mouth it is very fresh, quite structured and medium-textured.
Soils of granite origin.
Manual night harvesting in150 Kg. pallets. Selection in selection table. Filling of the vat by gravity. Spontaneous alcoholic and malolatic fermentation. Minimal intervention vinification.
12 months in stainless steel vats without contact with barrels.
14,5% Vol.
Keep at 14ºC, serve at 16ºC, to be drunk at 18ºC.
Fresh red wine, elegant, it goes well with casserole meats, game and lamb, where the freshness of Trincadeira cuts the fat.
