Arinto from the Azores (85%) and Verdelho (15%)
The Volcanic Series are wines of volcanic origin, where the soils, poor and stony, defy the very definition of agricultural soil. On this almost "mother rock", in the middle of the Atlantic and at the base of the biggest mountain in Portugal, where nothing else could grow, the grapes of this Volcanic White have ripened as much as the brave Azorean climate allowed.
Fresh mineral and saline attack, it has the matrix of the Azorean varieties and Terroir, but with a more exuberant aroma, more tropical, more Azorean pineapple and passion fruit, fresh fruit with acidity.

The bunches are carefully selected on a sorting table and then the grapes are gently crushed and transported to the fermentation tanks without the aid of pumps. Here, they are macerated for 3 to 6 hours at low temperature and the resulting sangria ferments spontaneously at 12ºC in order to maintain aromatic potential.
Fresh, very mineral and saline. Ideal partner for oysters, barnacles and bivalves. It also works with grilled fish, salads and fresh seafood.
Keep at 6-8ºC to be served at 10ºC, and to drink at 12ºC.
