Concept

Arinto dos Açores is an autochthonous and exclusive variety of the Azores islands, having in common with the Arinto of the continent only the name and the good acidity.

Tasting Notes

Clean citrus yellow color. Pure mineral aroma, citrus with grapefruit notes. Tense, fresh attack with a very present minerality and acidity, good persistence and saline notes.

Gastronomy

Fresh, very mineral and saline. Ideal partner for oysters, barnacles and bivalves. It also works with grilled fish, salads and fresh seafood.

Vinification

Selective manual harvesting in 20 kg baskets, whole bunch pressing, transfer after 12h to 600-1000L horizontal stainless steel tanks (80%) and 228L to 500L used French oak barrels (20%).

Alcohol

12,0% Vol.

Conservation and Service

Store at 6-8ºC to be served at 10ºC, and to be drunk at 12ºC.
