Sexy White "Fleur blanche" is a wine resulting from the natural fermentation of the Antão Vaz, Roupeiro and Fernão Pires varieties.
The vineyards are partly in integrated production mode and partly in organic production mode, both certified, the oenology is of low intervention, for the pure expression of the Alentejo nature.
The grapes come from our own vineyards, without irrigation, with an average age of 20 years and mostly granite soils, resulting from the degradation of the mother rock, varying the percentage of limestone from plot to plot, and the pH of the soils between 5.7 and 8.2. Water being close by is a determining factor in all our vineyards, where the water tables are close, guaranteeing fresh soils.
Manual night harvesting to ensure the grapes are fresh, followed by direct pressing without any crushing (the grapes never touch pumps). Then, natural cold decantation without any additives. Fermentation at controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks without any barrels (unoaked).
Continental Mediterranean, hot and dry days with very cold nights.
Citrine yellow color, with exuberant aroma of tropical fruits and notes of orange blossom to mark the tone. In the mouth, it attacks with good volume where the good fruit is balanced with perfect acidity. The finish is quite persistent.
Superb with fish dishes, salads and "al dente" pasta.
Keep at 6-8ºC to be served at 10ºC and drink at 12ºC.
