Maçanita Wines is a project, of two brothers and two enologists. Wines made by two hands, some wines, although produced together, are the preferences, manias or visions of each one of the brothers. Rabigato is one of the most important white grape varieties in the Douro, known for its freshness and acidity. Here we test the potential of this variety in extreme, in its purest version.
Baixo Corgo, Sedielos, 520m altitude.
The grapes are hand picked and transported in 18kg boxes. In the winery, direct pressing of the whole bunch, spontaneous fermentation in horizontal tanks. Aged for 6 months in stainless steel.
Light yellow color, notes of citrus and sweet fruit. Tense, mineral, with great persistence.
666 bottles in May 2023.

Store at 6ºC to be served at 10ºC and drink at 12ºC.
Goes well with white meat dishes, sea fish.
