Concept
Os Canivéis is a set of plots located in the parish of Carlão, where we find transitional soils from schist to granite. This vineyard shows a rare composition of more than 9 traditional white grape varieties from the Douro. The result is a unique wine that excites for what remains to be explored in the Douro and for the preservation and longevity of this Douro style which, despite being undervalued, for us holds as much or even more value!
Carlão, 520m altitude, vineyards aged between 80 and 92 years, Cima Corgo.
Manual harvest into 18kg boxes. Whole cluster pressing, cold settling, fermentation and aging with 25% in new oak barrels and 75% in stainless steel with bâtonnage for 10 months.
Citrus yellow color, delicate citrus aroma. On the palate, the attack is dense, with balanced acidity. Rich mid-palate. Finishes with great freshness and persistence.

Store at 6–8ºC to be served at 10ºC and consumed at 12ºC.
Pairs well with fish or meat dishes, and due to its acidity, matches perfectly with simpler fish and seafood.
