52% Arinto, 48% blend (Alicante Branco, Trincadeira das Pratas, Roupeiro, Rabo de Ovelha).


Concept

White wine produced from traditional Alentejo grape varieties: Arinto and a blend of old vines, with minimal intervention, no sulphur added until the end of fermentation, spontaneous fermentation in barrels and long ageing on lees.


Tasting Notes

Straw yellow colour. Intense, complex aroma combining notes of grapefruit, orange peel and fresh cream. Textured on the palate, with freshness, richness and intensity. Persistent finish.


Vinification


Manual harvest at night, sorting table, direct press without crushing and cold decanting for around 12 hours, without additives. Spontaneous fermentation in barrels without any temperature control. Spontaneous alcoholic and malolactic fermentation.


Ageing


12 months on fine lees, without battonage in 80% used barrels and 20% new French oak barrels.


Gastronomy


A wine with a certain concentration, aromatic intensity and tertiary notes, it goes well with more elaborate fish such as baked fish, stews or simpler white meats.

12.5%Vol.


Conservation and Service


Store at 6-8ºC to be served at 10ºC to be drunk at 12ºC.
